Communication

It’s not always easy to communicate with parents. They don’t want companies telling them how to raise their children but they do want information. They hate having products marketed directly to their children but they do like to know about useful products and services.

We help companies to develop communication products that work for families. Sound easy? Well it is if you know how – for example, did you know that parents with small children routinely navigate information using age breakdown as a starting point?

If you would like to find out how we could help you to develop an effective communication tool or product for families contact vicki@parentfocus.co.uk or julie@parentfocus.co.uk for further information.

Case study:

Parents’ guide to technology

Helping parents to understand technology in all its various forms – from social networking to blogging and gaming – is one heck of a challenge. Vodafone asked us to help them to develop a website that told parents everything they needed to know to help their family stay safe and get the most out of technology. Working with Mumsnet and Empathise, we helped to develop a site that met parents’ needs.

“Working with Parent Focus helped us achieve real insights into parents’ needs and develop appropriate and effective responses to them. Their understanding of the parenting sector and understanding of the issues facing parents was a real asset to the project.”
